This 4-Hour Training for respite care providers, foster parents, child care providers, and others places strong emphasis on pro-active supports. Paul White, MA, University of Wisconsin, Waisman Center is the facilitator.
The training uses a video of dramatic, realistic enactments of threatening confrontations done by professional actors. The learning style includes small group work, videotape, and some physical practice; wear comfortable clothing.
