The Department of Health Services (DHS) will hold a Town Hall Meeting in Milwaukee next Friday from 10 a.m. - 3 p.m. to hear from the public on its 39 proposals to save funding in Medicaid programs. DHS Secretary Dennis Smith and Deputy Secretary Kitty Rhoades will be present at the meeting.

DHS is also holding a Town Hall Meeting in Madison from 1 p.m. to 7 p.m. on Wednesday, October 19.
Many of the 39 proposals will generate cost savings without impacting the services of consumers. A short summary of four proposals that cause concern is available on the DAWN website.
Each speaker will have up to three minutes to share their comments at this forum. Written testimony also can be shared at the meeting. Those unable to attend the Town Hall Meeting can provide comments on the DHS website.
