On Monday, May 10, 2010, Stout Vocational Rehabilitation Institute (SVRI) is hosting an open house and informal tour for transition-age students, their families/friends, and educators.

Participants will learn how SVRI can help with evaluations for: community living, functional/vocational evaluation, driver simulator, adaptive driving, seating/mobility, computer access, and hearing/vision loss.

Objectives of the tour:

  • Broaden understanding of the rehabilitation process and possibilities
  • Respond to questions related to your individual situation

This is a no-cost opportunity to learn about SVRI services to assist with career choice and life planning. The open house will be from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at UW-Stout, Vocational Rehabilitation Building, 221-10th Avenue East, Menomonie, WI.
