School Superintendent Candidate Forum on Disability Issues

On Monday, March 9th, the Department of Public Instruction will hold a School Superintendent Candidate Forum on disability issues. Candidates Tony Evers and Rosa Fernandez will discuss issues of importance to the disability community, such as special education services, school funding reform, seclusion and restraint, and high stakes testing. This event is free and there will be time for audience questions.
The Candidate Forum will be from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Monday, March 9th, at Independence First, 540 S. 1st Street, Milwaukee, WI.
Independence First asks that guests not use perfumes, scented soaps, etc. Independence First is a smoke-free environment.
Interpreters for people who are deaf and hard of hearing will be present at the event.
