Time:  Noon, February 16th
Place:  State Capitol with march to nearby federal courthouse, Madison

The Wisconsin Democracy Campaign is holding a march to protest the recent U.S. Supreme Court decision. The Court decided that campaign financing limits do not apply to corporations. This means corporations can spend as much money as they want in support of a candidate. In return, the corporation may expect special access once the candidate is elected to office.

Most people with disabilities have limited incomes. They are unable or unwilling to give money to campaigns. Because of this, few of them have the same kind of access that large donors have. This may be why it is difficult to get action on disability issues.

More information about the march is available here.
