The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) joins more than 70 disability and aging organizations statewide in asking for a removal of Governor Walker’s proposed cap on enrollment in all community long-term care programs. The BPDD shares other groups’ concerns that the cap will result in
serious hardships for working families who have a loved one with care needs, as well as a decrease in community participation by people with disabilities and potential increases in costly institutional care.
