The Wisconsin Community Fund (WCF) is seeking grant applicants for a $2,000 grant in the Spring of 2009 to one Wisconsin group doing Movement Building in Wisconsin.  Note that the Proposal Due Date has been extended to January 2, 2009.

“Movement Building involves an analysis of and a commitment to building a popular movement across race, class, issue, and geographic lines. WCF is offering this grant as a way of stimulating and supporting organizations doing social change and social justice work in Wisconsin.

This grant is designed for groups which have worked in coalition or collaboration with other organizations either in Wisconsin, in the Midwest or as part of a national coalition. Please take the time to consider how your organization might use a grant for movement building to help the progressive movement in Wisconsin reach a greater potential.”
