Mental health consumers are invited to attend the 5th Annual Grassroots Empowerment Project Inc. Empowerment Days Dinner from 5:30 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on April 19th at the Concourse Hotel in Madison. The dinner will include presentations by mental health consumers who will discuss issues pertaining to the Wisconsin State Budget.
The role advocates play in Wisconsin’s mental health system is extremely powerful and it impacts many people. The Empowerment Days Dinner provides an opportunity for advocates to share experiences, discuss concerns, and generate ideas for solutions to improve the mental health system. In the past, this event has been an invaluable educational experience for everyone in attendance.
