What: This Advocacy Institute is a learning and action forum for parent advocates across Wisconsin. Selected parents will gain new information and skills that will enhance their advocacy skills for children and young adults with disabilities and/or special health care needs. Participants will be part of issue briefings and skills development sessions, and will be able to schedule a visit with their legislators.
When: March 24 and 25, 2009
Where: Concourse Hotel, 1 W. Dayton St., Madison, WI
Cost: Free; the registration fee, conference materials, lodging, and meals will be paid by the sponsoring organizations.
