73rd and 74th State Assembly Districts Candidate Forums

Mark your calendars for two Forums on Disability Issues featuring the candidates for Wisconsin State Assembly in the 73rd and 74th Assembly districts (Ashland, Bayfield, Burnett, Douglas, Iron, Sawyer and Washburn Counties).

What: 73rd Assembly District Forum (Most candidates will be there)
When: Monday, August 18, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: Superior Public Library, 1530 Tower Avenue, Superior

What: 74th Assembly District Forum (All candidates will be there)
When: Tuesday, August 19, 2008 from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m.
Where: M & I Bank, 100 East Main Street, Ashland.

North Country Independent Living and the Wisconsin Disability Vote Coalition invite you to join them for a forum on disabilities issues. You will hear the candidates discuss issues of importance to the disabilities community like long-term care, access to services, and government funding as well as what each candidate plans to do to address the concerns and interests of the disabilities community.

The Forum is free and open to the public. No advance registration is necessary.
