Family Respite Care Services’ statewide annual respite conference is for professionals and caregivers of all types: Parents, Grandparents, Teachers, CNA’s, Personal Care Workers, Respite Organizations, County Professionals, Foster Parents, and anyone interested in respite resources, ongoing training and support on issues related to caring for an individual with a disability or special need of any kind.

Keynote:
Lynn Breedlove - Executive Director, Disability Rights Wisconsin. Lynn will discuss changes in funding and services at the State level and how this impacts services for families caring for an individual with a disability.

Other topics:
Kerri Peach-Churches is an in-home therapist who will discuss services available when your child is diagnosed with a disability

Val Crossiant with Easter Seals of Wisconsin will discuss training respite providers and other respite care available

Transitional programs available, support available while your child is in school
