IndependenceFirst and Wisconsin FACETS will once again be hosting two Youth Leadership Summits for high school students (and recent graduates) with disabilities. The Summits will be held on June 20-24th, 2011 and July 11-15th, 2011.

Senate Bill 1 and Assembly Bill 1 reform lawsuits filed by people injured by products or services The intent of the bill is to curb “frivolous” lawsuits, however, it will also impact people with disabilities who receive long term care services in facilities such as nursing homes, group homes, and others.
