CORE Mini-Grants Available for Families of Young Children

Wisconsin families of children ages birth to 6 with disabilities who are in Birth to 3 or the Children’s Long Term Care Program are invited to apply for a CORE Mini-Grant to expand opportunities and build relationships between their children and others in their community. The deadline to apply is August 1, 2014.

The Wisconsin Rehabilitation Council and the Department of Workforce Development will hold hearings on Wednesday, May 21 to get comments from the public about employment for people with disabilities. Submit your comments in-person or via email, fax, or phone.

The Independent Living Council of Wisconsin and the Wisconsin Department of Workforce Development’s Division of Vocational Rehabilitation (DVR) have invited interested persons to attend a public hearing to give their input.
