Rep. Van Roy is a member of the Aging and Long-Term Care Committee, which will have a hearing and vote on Assembly Bill (AB) 477. This bill lifts the caps on Family Care and IRIS and expands the programs to every county in Wisconsin.

Two Disability Victories – Two More To Go

Senate Bill (SB) 380 lifts the caps on enrollment in Family Care and IRIS and expands the programs statewide. SB 377 eliminates the R-word from the state statutes. The State Senate passed the bills 33-0. Passage is a great victory, but we are only half-way to the finish line.

Committee Votes to Lift the Caps, But More Advocacy Needed

The Wisconsin Senate Health Committee voted 5-0 to pass Senate Bill (SB) 380. The bill lifts the caps on Family Care, IRIS, Partnership, and PACE and rolls out the programs statewide. But more work is needed to pass the legislation into law.
