Reauthorization
of the Rehabilitation Act:
The Rehabilitation Act was to be reauthorized in 2003. It has not been reauthorized. The Act was rolled into the Workforce Investment Act (WIA) but neither has yet to be introduced in the current Congress. The Rehabilitation Act provides funding and policy guidance for the vocational rehabilitation system. In Wisconsin, the system is the Division of Vocation Rehabilitation.
