Taxpayer Protection Amendment Hearing
Who: The Senate Select Committee on the Taxpayer Protection Amendment will hold a public hearing.
What: Senate Joint Resolution 63 (SJR 63) or the Taxpayer Protection Amendment (TPA).
Where: Room 412 East in the State Capitol.
When: Wednesday, April 5, 2006, the Committee will hear Invited Testimony from 12:00 to 4:00 p.m. At 5:30 p.m. the Committee will take public testimony.
Public Information Forum
When: April 11, 2006 at 12:10 pm
Where: UW-Fox Valley Student Union, 1478 Midway Road, Menasha, WI
Whom: Rep. Frank Lasee and UW-Fox Valley Dean Jim Perry
What: Both presenters will give alternate views of the Taxpayer Protection Amendment (TPA). There will be time for audience questions and participation. There will be a moderator.
What you can do: Show up and ask the hard questions that have yet to be answered by supporters of the TPA such as: what do you think is going to happen to Medicaid access for the elderly and people with disabilities, what will happen to the services I currently receive under Medicaid, what is going to happen to the cost of a UW education, and so on.
