Share What You Know About Self-Determination and Self-Direction!

Are you interested in presenting at the 2013 Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference? If you are, please submit a Proposal Form by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30!

The theme for this year’s conference is “The Six Degrees of Self-Determination.” The learning topics that will be included in the conference are: choice, contribution, community, respect, relationship, and responsibility. To learn more about the learning topics, check out the Proposal Form.

Conference organizers are seeking session presentations for Wednesday, October 30 and Thursday, October 31.

  • Proposals by citizens with disabilities are encouraged.
  • Conference sessions support self-directed supports principles, activities, and outcomes.
  • Presentations should focus on practical, take home strategies that people can implement in their work and lives.

Please complete the Proposal Form and submit it to: Fil Clissa at fil.clissa@wisconsin.gov or mail to: BPDD, 101 E. Wilson St., Room 219, Madison, WI 53703. All proposals are due by 12 p.m. on Tuesday, April 30, 2013.

The 2013 Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference is sponsored by the Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities and People First Wisconsin.
