Analysis of Gov. Walker’s State Budget Proposal

Governor Scott Walker proposed a new state budget for 2013-2015. Many programs that individuals with disabilities rely upon to live in the community are funded in the state budget.

The DAWN Team developed a state budget summary so disability advocates have access to the latest information. The summary includes comparisons between the Governor’s budget proposal and the positions of advocates. Important issues like long-term care, education, employment, and many more are featured in the summary. Please share this information with others!

DAWN Members will be kept up-to-date as more information becomes available. DAWN members will also be alerted when the Joint Finance Committee announces hearings on the proposed budget.

Stay tuned for more advocacy opportunities!
