Open Doors to Community Supported Living at the SDS Network Event
On July 11, be part of the movement as Community Supported Living develops across Wisconsin!
Do you want to learn more about self-direction and community supported living? Do you have your own ideas about how to improve the quality of people’s lives at home? If you answered “yes” to either question, then the SDS (Self-Directed Supports) Network Event is for you!
The event’s theme is “Opening Doors to Community Supported Living.” People who attend will learn about innovative efforts and share ideas that will help to improve long-term care outcomes for individuals with disabilities and their families. Guest presenters from around the country will share their exciting work around developing individualized supports, utilizing technology, transforming group homes, and much more!
Bonus: The first 150 registrants will receive a free copy of the book “Keys to Life: Creating Customized Homes for People with Disabilities Using Individualized Supports.”
Details: The SDS Network Event will be held from 8:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. on Wednesday, July 11, 2012 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. Online registration is available. The registration fee is $25 and the deadline to register is Monday, July 2.
