Mosaic Art Contest Update
Artwork to be returned to artists; deadline approaching
The 2012 Mosaic Art Contest has been receiving great pieces of art from self-advocates from all over Wisconsin! Will yours be one of them?
If you answered ‘Yes’ but haven’t submitted your artwork yet, act fast. The deadline to submit your artwork is only nine days away!
Also, due to many requests from self-advocates, all submissions – except 1st place award winners – will be returned to the artist. The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) will not mail the artwork, but artists will have an opportunity to pick up their submitted artwork at the BPDD office. For more about picking up your artwork, go to Awards, Recognition & Prizes.
This is an art contest for self-advocates, 18 years and older, who live in Wisconsin and want to express what self-determination and/or self-advocacy means to them through their art. The art contest is sponsored by the BPDD.
More information about the 2012 Mosaic Art Contest, including information about prizes and how to submit your artwork, is available online. The deadline to submit artwork is 12:00 p.m. on Friday, September 14, 2012.
