BPDD provides many opportunities for people with disabilities, their family members, and professionals to improve the lives of people with disabilities in Wisconsin. Below is a quick snapshot of current and upcoming BPDD events and opportunities.
The 2012 Wisconsin Self-Determination Conference will be held Oct. 29-31, 2012 at the Kalahari Resort in Wisconsin Dells. The conference provides a great opportunity for individuals, advocates, family members, and providers to learn more about self-determination in Wisconsin. Registration for the conference is open.
BPDD is requesting proposals to develop a statewide public information campaign designed to demonstrate through stories and examples how people with intellectual and developmental disabilities can strengthen communities, contribute to community life, and enrich others. More information, including how to submit a proposal, is available in the Request for Proposals (RFP). The deadline to submit a proposal is Friday, Nov. 16, 2012.
BPDD is seeking a full-time Office Manager. Interested applicants must complete an online exam to be considered for the position. Application materials will not be accepted if received via email, hard copy or fax.
