Candidate Forum on Special Education this Friday
Hear from the Candidates for State Superintendent of Public Instruction
The State Superintendent of Public Instruction provides leadership for Wisconsin’s public schools and decides how federal aids for schools will be disbursed. The person in this position makes large decisions that will impact students with disabilities in Wisconsin – that’s why it’s important to attend the forum this Friday and learn about the State Superintendent candidates’ positions regarding special education.
This Friday (Mar. 1), a candidate forum on special education issues will be held on the UW-Oshkosh campus. Rep. Don Pridemore is challenging current State Superintendent Tony Evers for the position. Both candidates will participate in the forum. State Superintendent is a non-partisan position and both candidates will be on the non-partisan spring election ballot on Apr. 2. More details are available in the event flyer.
