BPDD RFP for Community Living Public Info Campaign
Deadline to submit proposals: Nov. 16, 2012
People with intellectual/developmental disabilities (I/DD) want to live, work, participate, and contribute in their local communities. Yet, they face a host of barriers in achieving their goals. A lack of affordable housing, over-reliance on congregant living for people with disabilities, lack of employment opportunities, and low community expectations can limit choices about where and how people live.
The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) is requesting proposals to develop a statewide public information campaign designed to reach all sectors of Wisconsin society. The campaign will demonstrate through stories and examples how people with I/DD can strengthen communities, contribute to community life, and enrich others.
More information, including how to submit a proposal, is available in the Request for Proposal (RFP).
