Invite Your Legislator to Join You!

An Employment First Legislative Breakfast will be held on Tuesday, April 9 in the State Capitol. This is event is free and open to the public, so RSVP now and invite your legislator to join you!

During the event, guest speaker Madeleine Will will discuss the national movement to use public services to promote integrated employment at competitive wages for people with disabilities. Will is the Vice President of Public Policy for the National Down Syndrome Society and she brings with her nearly 40 years of experience as both an advocate and a policymaker. Will plans to share her unique perspective on why Employment First is good public policy.

If improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities in Wisconsin is important to you, please consider attending this event. If possible, invite your legislator to join you so he or she also has the opportunity to learn more about Employment First and why it’s good for Wisconsin.

This event will be hosted by Wisconsin Employment First, a coalition of more than 40 organizations focused on improving employment outcomes for people with disabilities.
