Here is another opportunity to complete this survey if you missed it the first time. If you have already completed the survey your time and effort is appreciated.

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) would like to learn about your advocacy efforts on important issues that affect Wisconsin residents with developmental disabilities (DD). BPDD has developed a survey to determine:
• How knowledgeable you are about important issues that affect people with DD.
• How involved you get in trying to impact issues that affect people with DD.
• How you advocate regarding issues that affect people with DD (e.g., call a legislator, host/attend an event, volunteer, forward information to others, encourage others to take action).
• What issues you have advocated for or against in the last year (e.g., Lifting the Caps, Employment First, The “R” Word campaign, seclusion and restraint).

The survey is anonymous and can be completed online. Please complete the survey by December 21, 2012.

The survey will help BPDD get a better understanding of the different ways Wisconsin residents are getting involved in advocacy, the issues people have been most involved with, and how BPDD can better support these efforts in the future.
