Vote to Ratify the Convention for the rights of People with Disabilities

Today, the United States Senate will vote to ratify the United Nations Convention for the Rights of Persons with Disabilities (CRPD), the first international treaty to address disability rights globally. Now is the time to contact Senator Kohl and Senator Johnson and ask them to vote FOR the CRPD by using CEC’s Legislative Action Center; it takes only a couple of minutes!

Tell Governor You Want Family Care

Gov. Walker is currently developing his state budget for 2013-2015 that will be presented to the legislature next year. Now is the time to contact Gov. Walker and tell him that you want Family Care and IRIS in your county!

Apply For Employment First Community Action Team Grants

The Wisconsin Board for People with Developmental Disabilities (BPDD) is providing grant funds to create grassroots Community Action Teams (CATs)  that will use Employment First strategies in local communities/regions.
